Tracking InstructorGeorgina is a Gold Level Scent Detection and Bronze Level Tracking Instructor with UK Sniffer Dogs offering Scent Detection and Tracking Classes and Workshops to clients from across Yorkshire with her team at Barkleys Dog Training Academy.
Our dog Barney has just completed the bronze, silver and gold scent courses with Gee and absolutely loved them all. It has been amazing to see how much his confidence has improved, he is quite anxious around new people but Gee was so patient and encouraging, and they ended up being best friends. Gee is a great trainer and each class was engaging and fun, we will miss them! Thanks Gee x

With our pooch Willow, we have just completed the gold scent course with Gee (Barkley & co) and had a great time. Willow loves these courses and gets super excited as we get closer to the venue. Highly recommended.

We just finished the silver scent course with our lab, Mabel, and it's been a great experience as always with Barkley & Co! The instructors including Gee are super knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to offer personalized tips for everyone on the course. Each week built on the last, and we saw real progress. Mabel loved it, and it was so rewarding to see her skills grow and her wagging tail as she did the exercises. Highly recommend this for any dog owner wanting to engage their pup in a fun and mentally stimulating activity!

Lando, our Portuguese Water Dog, did the bronze scent course with Gee. It was fabulous - enjoyable for both Lando and us. The pacing was just right and Lando was really engaged by the variety of the tasks and the structure of the sessions. We will definitely be doing the silver course.

I signed up for the Bronze Scent Detection course with my Siberian Husky (Luna) who had just turned 1. I was just looking for something we could do together and just have fun. We didn’t just have fun, Luna did so much better than I expected, and this was due to the amazing supportive atmosphere Gee and Beth created. They were always on hand with new ideas to keep Luna focused. I finished the course feeling more confident and she learnt so much. We’ve used her new skills to create lots of new find it games, which Luna helped me teach to her twin sister Orla. These games have been so useful to drain some of their energy as they need lots of attention. We can’t wait for the next course.

Scent training is a great way to help teach your dog a new skill - which is great for keeping their mind active. Our dog Marcy is a Beagle X Cocker Spaniel, so always has her nose on the ground. The scent detection bronze course was a wonderful introduction to the ways in which we can engage Marcy and put her instinctive behaviours to use to exercise her brain - which is especially handy when the weather is really bad! Gee and the team and very engaging, patient and knowledgable and are able to get the best out of not just the dogs, but their owners as well.

Our shepherd Indi loved the bronze sniffer course. The trainers were very patient and gave helpful tips to make sure he stayed engaged. We can't wait to do the next level.

We where really interested when Georgina first mentioned she was going to be running a scent course. We signed up straight away and we are so glad we did! The weekly sessions were well structured and fun. We learnt new techniques every week and Rosie loved using her nose. The course has given us confidence to carry on scent training and a new (tiring) game to play indoors and outdoors.

Our dog and I had the most amazing course with Barkleys Dog Training Academy. They are very knowledgable and makes both owners & dogs feel at ease. Georgina & Beth made the scent course fun and very rewarding for the dogs.

Me and my pup (Lily) attended an introduction session. Lily thoroughly enjoyed using her nose to find treats, and her tail was busy wagging as she did so. We plan on doing the course in the future.

We did our Bronze scent detection course with Barkleys & would highly recommend. Our trainers were supportive throughout. They were knowledgable in what they were delivering and able to recommend different approaches to adapt for my dog which helped massively. Can't wait to do our silver course with them!

Me and our labrador recently completed our bronze scent detection course with Barkley & Co. The trainers were amazing! They are knowledgeable and supportive towards everyone and their dogs. We absolutely loved doing our course and most importantly our dog loved it too. We gained so much new learning and skills to practice at home. We can't wait to attend the Silver class when it becomes available. Thank you again.
